Background
A 1986 Graduate of The New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) with a B.S. Degree in Architectural Technology, Chris Ponisi has been practicing architecture since 1986. Chris Ponisi is also the recipient of The Staten Island Chamber of Commerce Award for Excellence of Design in Small Spaces. He has been featured in many articles relating to his field and for his community work with the disabled in designing public access for disabled children.
Additional Information
In addiiton to Mr. Ponisi's full service architectural expertise, he also is fully versed in The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), having designed numerous private residences where handicapped accessibility was integral. He has first-hand experience and knowledge in creating an aesthetically pleasing yet handicapped compliant environment.
